A BIT OF HISTORY

jnoubi-knot-hope

Jnoubi was started in 2012 as a skills development project and over time the project grew into a small business.

The artisans are from different tribes that often experience separation and rivalry. Jnoubi and other projects at the New Horizon Centre have given them and others the opportunity to break down decades of social walls.

Other values that we have, are to celebrate & honour the beauty of our cultures, to grow and develop local leadership and to encourage entrepreneurship.

OUR WOMEN

jnoubi-knot-hope

Jnoubi is more than just beautiful jewelry, it’s about growing and developing young women and teaching them a variety of skills. Of even greater value is the fact that they learn that they are precious, gifted and beautiful. These young women are discovering who they truly are!

Suzan

Suzan

Suzan is not only very talented, but also has the heart of a mother. While working as a team, she plays an important role to keep things together. She dreams of Jnoubi becoming a place where many more girls will have new opportunities in life and discover the hope they have. At Jnoubi, she has learned that nothing is impossible!

Samira

Samira

Samira is one of those people who just has an eye for matching colors beautifully! She is very talented, with excellent jewelry-making skills. She also has a natural sense for design and therefore plays an important role in the design process of our products.

Samaher

Samaher

Samaher always brings joy to the center, making sure that there is enough fun and laughter. She often puts on a thick Bedouin accent, sometimes making up her own words or telling a joke. Joy bubbles up from within her. She has learned at Jnoubi that we need to make the most of today, and this will have an impact on tomorrow!
